Morris’s Roofing | Contractor Spotlight

Our featured Contractor in the Spotlight for September is Morris’s Roofing of Sultan, Washington.Owner, Morris Marleau, has over 40 years of experience working within the roofing industry. He began his career in roofing as a general laborer in 1974, just before he turned 18. After years of honing his skills and learning the business side of roofing, he made the decision to start his own company in 1986 and has not looked back since. Morris’s Roofing has grown throughout the years to become one of the premier roofing contractors in Snohomish County. Having demonstrated consistent quality installations and excellent customer service over the years, Morris’s has earned the exclusive designation as a PABCO®Preferred Contractor.

Building personal relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer the best solutions is the highest priority for Morris. He believes in doing it right the first time and takes pride in not having call-backs. Many would call Morris old-fashioned, as he still hand nails all of his work and there are very few in the industry who continues to do so. However, he knows that his methods are tried and true, long before portable air compressors were so common. Working alongside two brothers in his company, Britt and Bart, their combined experience of 100 years in the roofing industry lives as a testament to the quality of work they produce. They are dedicated to practicing honesty and loyalty, which serves as Morris’s personal motto and something their customers can always rely on.

Morris values the relationships he has with the companies he works with, as they mirror the same principles his company believes in. Pictured is a home that Morris’s Roofing worked on in Everett, WA. The featured shingle is PABCO Premier® in Pewter Gray. Since working on this project, his company has continued to receive referrals and work from neighbors. Referrals and his longevity are by far his largest source of work. Morris is definitely not one easily forgotten and chuckles when he receives calls from homeowners who were some of his first customers, 30 years ago.
